The Soul Searchers

Founded in 1978, the group conducted its first evangelical trip to Tacloban, Leyte on April 8, of that same year, where they taught Daily Vacation Bible School (DVBS), performed concerts, and presented gospel skits. That first trip marked the beginning of a lifelong commitment to serve God and bring His message of hope and salvation to communities near and far.

Over the years, the Soul Searchers have grown into a dynamic ministry team united by faith and purpose.  Today, it is now one of the evangelistic arms of Cebu Gospel Church, dedicated to sharing the Gospel through music, ministry, and outreach.

What We Did and What We Do Now

• Evangelistic Concerts & Skits
We use music and drama to communicate the message of the Gospel in ways that are engaging, heartfelt, and relatable.

• Outreach Missions
We organize and participate in outreach programs that serve underprivileged communities through practical help and spiritual encouragement. These missions often include Bible teaching and DVBS, allowing us to share God’s Word in meaningful ways while addressing the unique needs of each community.

• Support for Bible Scholars
We believe in equipping future leaders of the faith. The Soul Searchers help sponsor Bible scholars, enabling them to pursue theological education.

• Worship Ministry
At present, we are actively helping in our church's worship ministry. We see this ministry as a vital part of worship, helping to usher in the presence of God and prepare hearts to receive His Word.
