The first meeting of the Sisters’ Fellowship was held in Mrs. Uy Cang Chui Siok residence in Manalili Street on February 7, 1951, at 3:00 PM. Only 12 people attended but each of them prayed.
The meeting venue was moved from the house of Ms. Uy Cang Chui Siok to the house of Sister Yu Un Sun. The fellowship again moved to the house of sister Clotilde Yap, during that time the church was held at the school, Cebu Christian School. The meetings were disturbed by the school bell ringing & noises during recess time.
So, the fellowship had to move to another member’s house again. Over time, due to the inconvenience of transportation, the venue of the Sisters' Fellowship was moved back to the church. This continued until the inauguration of the new church building.
The Sisters’ Fellowship aim is to do discipleship, evangelism through one on one and mission work through the sisters of Cebu Gospel Church. The fellowship uses the verses Luke 1 : 46 & 47 as their motto.
